West Coast Division - Clinical Specialist

Colette Ellis has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 39 years with multiple clinical expertise in areas including Dysphagia, Voice, TBI, Neurogenic Disorders, Oral Placement, and Feeding across the life span. She has worked in acute care, out patient rehab, home health, Private Practice, and currently owns a Private Practice titled 29th Street Therapy Center. She also owns a mobile fiber optic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing company called Advanced Dysphagia Diagnostics, for which she contracts to multiple hospitals and facilities to provide onsite services. Colette services infants through the geriatric populations with a variety of feeding, swallowing, voice, oral myofunctional, and neurogenic needs. She has multiple certifications and state and national associations. Colette works with two wonderful skilled clinicians in her private practice, and mobile FEES service, along with volunteering during disaster situations through the Medical Reserve Corps and with her therapy dog Jett. She has successfully organized and participated in two foreign soil therapy mission and evaluation trips to aide in teacher and caregiver training in both Honduras and the Maldives. She is the recipient of 18 awards of clinical education(ACE) from ASHA, and the Lillian P. Ivey Distinguished Clinical Teaching Award from the University of Central Oklahoma.
